Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with Atlas.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, store, transmit, or distribute through Atlas any content that:

  • Is illegal under applicable law, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this will be reported to relevant authorities immediately and result in immediate, permanent account termination
  • Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party
  • Contains malware, viruses, or any code/files designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems
  • Depicts non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Promotes violence, hate, or discrimination

2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the FTP ingestion endpoint, API, or storage infrastructure for any purpose other than uploading and managing your own legitimate photography content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account, data, or gallery
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service (e.g., excessive automated requests, abuse of duplicate-detection or AI features to overload infrastructure)
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except where permitted by law
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to Atlas to third parties outside the scope of your subscription plan (e.g., seat limits) without our written consent
  • Use Atlas to store or process content unrelated to professional photography services (e.g., using storage as generic unrelated cloud storage)
  • Circumvent storage, camera-connection, or seat limits associated with your subscription tier

4. Fair Use of Resources

Modular pricing tiers (storage, camera connections, seats) define expected usage. Significant deviation from expected patterns for your tier (e.g., automated bulk uploads unrelated to actual photography sessions) may be treated as abuse and result in throttling or a request to upgrade your plan.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP by another user, please report it to legal@atlas.saramandic.com. We investigate reports in good faith and take action at our discretion.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access immediately, without prior notice, for severe violations (e.g., illegal content, security threats). For less severe violations, we will generally attempt to notify you and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue first.
