FTP root certificate

Import one of these files onto a camera card as ROOT.CER, ROOT.PEM, or ROOT.CRT for verified FTPS. No Atlas login required.

Atlas FTPS currently uses an ECDSA certificate chain ending at ISRG Root X2. Import ROOT.CER (X2) on the camera. Use X1 only if support tells you the live chain changed to RSA — rename that download to ROOT.CER / ROOT.PEM / ROOT.CRT before importing (Canon accepts only those filenames).

ISRG Root X2 (default)

Matches the current Let’s Encrypt ECDSA chain. Keep the filename exactly ROOT.CER / ROOT.PEM / ROOT.CRT on the card.

ISRG Root X1 (RSA fallback)

Only if the server presents an RSA chain. Rename to ROOT.CER (or .PEM / .CRT) before importing.
